Gods Refuge Inc. was founded in 2003 after determining the need for a shelter and a training facility. The purpose of the program is to address the struggles that many face when they go through various situations. The program directly addresses the issues, which communities are facing and provides a solution to these issues. The organization works continuously to provide services that solves the problem rather than bandage it.
By providing a place of refuge to the hurting, we want to help people see past their situation and move into their future. While the struggle may be hard, the journey only makes us stronger. The key to any situation lies in ones ability to be determined and dedicated.
The overall goal of the organization is to decrease the number of homeless individuals as well as provide assistance to individuals who are living in poverty. With poverty increasing, the organization seeks to provide more opportunities to address the situation as well as make more resources available to individuals. Our organization final goal is to be able to provide shelter, transitional housing, vocational and educational training, counseling, and many other services that will benefit individuals of all ages.
